Located centrally on the beautiful Sunshine Coast Qld, Sunshine Bantams & Blooms is a small family-run market garden. We grow seasonal cut flowers, propagate edible plants suited to our subtropical climate, create unique handmade pottery pieces, and breed friendly bantam chickens.
Whether you're looking for fresh locally grown flowers, fertile eggs to hatch at home, healthy plants for your garden or a cute bantam to add to your flock, we would love to hear from you!

Floral Bouquets
Hand picked arrangements of spray free blooms. Fresh and dried bouquets available seasonally.
Backyard Coop
Heritage bantam chickens and fertile hatching eggs, perfect for starting or expanding your own backyard flock. We specialise in Belgian D'Uccles, Pekins and Bekins, selected for their friendly temperament and cuteness.
Pottery
Every piece of pottery is handmade in small batches with a focus on bringing beaty and character to the garden or home. I enjoy creating ceramic flowers that add year-round colour along with decorative birdhouses. New pieces are added regularly.

Farm FAQ
When are the flowers in bloom?
Our cut flowers are seasonal. We generally have a vibrant selection for most of the year with peak production in spring. Availability will depend on the subtropical cycles of the Sunshine Coast. Dried flowers are available year-round pending stock and can be posted.
How do I buy fertile eggs?
Check out our breed description and flock images to help you choose which eggs you would prefer. Pre-orders are accepted in spring when production is high. A short wait time may be required as we collect the eggs to fulfill your order.
We offer postage on fertile eggs at buyer's discretion. Rough handling and temperature fluctuations during transit can significantly reduce hatch rates.
Collection from the farm gate is recommended wherever possible to give you the best chance of a successful hatch.
Are your poultry vacinated?
No. Our poultry are not vaccinated. We focus on raising hardy birds through good husbandry and nutrition. Once a bird leaves our property, its health, care and ongoing management become the responsibility of the new owner. The stress of moving to a new home can temporarily weaken a bird's immune system, we therefore encourage a period of quarantine for new birds before introduction to an existing flock.
Do you offer farm tours?
As we are a small family-run garden, we aren't open for general walk-ins. However, we love chatting with fellow gardeners during collection times and at the markets.
